What makes us? How do we see ourselves? How are we seen? In their positions, the photographers of the F5 collective demonstrate the influence societal and cultural constructs pertaining to age, gender, body, health, origin and appearance have on identity and self-discovery. The artists approach the topic through staged portraits, self-portraits, collage and documentary works. The exhibition explores the aspects’ complexity and invites dialogue.
